Schalk Burger in hospital
Updated | By Diane
Schalk Burger is in hospital. The DHL Stormers and Springbok flanker is receiving treatment for bacterial meningitis.
Burger will remain in hospital for 14 days and is only likely to play rugby again in about six weeks.
The Stormers will host the Crusaders in Vodacom Super Rugby action on Saturday night.
Kickoff in Cape Town is at 19h10.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, have included Richard Kahui in their team for the Super Rugby showdown with the Blues this weekend.
It has been almost a year since Kahui last started a Super Rugby match for the Chiefs.
The All Blacks centre was used as an impact player against the Highlanders last week.
