SA surfers struggle at J-Bay

It has been a tough day for the three South African surfers involved at the J-Bay Open.
Jordy Smith, Slade Prestwich and Michael February all ended last in their first round heats on Friday.
Smith will face Adam Melling in round two, while February has a second round date with Filipe Toledo.
Prestwich will be up against Adriano de Souza in his second round outing.
Kelly Slater and Mick Fanning both won in the first round today to qualify directly for the third round.
Gabriel Medina will need to compete in the second round at J-Bay.
Medina was last in a first round heat won by Keanu Asing.
