Ryan's predictions for the upcoming EPL games. Read through the details below

English Premier League

Leicester v Chelsea

Massive game for both sides, Leicester could go 11 points clear in their bid to secure a place in the top 4 whilst Chelsea will want some daylight between themselves and the chasing pack.

This is a tough game to call, purely because both sides haven’t really been able to find a bit of form, I worry for Chelsea though – where are the goals going to come from?

Prediction: 1 – 1

Bournemouth v Aston Villa

Bournemouth were horrible against Arsenal; the funny thing is the week before last they actually got a positive result playing basic football. What sort of Villa pitch up for this game? Fatigued and flat or absolutely buzzing to be heading to Wembley? Either way I think the pressure is on Bournemouth, they cannot lose.

Prediction: 2 – 1

C Palace v Sheffield United

Sheffield are still there and there about for the top spots in the league, which is an incredible achievement for the Blades! Their form on the road has been second to none and with Palace all over the place there must be some value in backing the away side.

Prediction: 0 – 1

Liverpool v Southampton

I’m going to try and make this one as quick as possible, they just keep winning, don’t they?

I can’t see any reason Southampton get a result here, but I’m bored with backing the Reds and for that reason and that reason only I’m going for a 1-1 draw.

Ps. No, it probably won’t happen and if you’re having a punt ignore this completely.

Prediction: 1 – 1

Newcastle v Norwich

Newcastle under Steve Bruce is a very well drilled side, giving very little away and making the most of any opportunities. The last time these sides faced each other Norwich ran away with it – I foresee a change in fortune come Saturday evening.

Prediction: 2 – 0

Watford v Everton

Watford last time out were really poor, one wonders whether their run of form has reached its end. Everton on the other hand found a way to drop points against Newcastle after leading 2-0 at the end of the 90 minutes.

Now if that doesn’t scream problems I’m not sure what will.

Prediction: 2 – 1

West Ham v Brighton

West Ham have got to make these sorts of games count, I agree that David Moyes needs to be given time but paying Brighton at the London stadium (all due respect to the Seagulls) is a must-win game.

Brighton have some of their own issues, there was a brief period in the season where you think Brighton and Graham Potter are turning it around and might kick on and compete in mid-table vicinity. They play a good brand of football but i still think they are some way off.

Prediction: 2 – 1

Manchester United v Wolves

Not much has separated this side recently and I see another close encounter on Saturday. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side really has impressed recently, their narrow defeat to Liverpool last time out just once again put their class on display. Having the week off is also a big plus coming into this one.

United got a good result in midweek against City but if history is anything to go by, after a big display against a big side United tend to lose…

Prediction: 1 – 1

Burnley v Arsenal

This will be a tough game for Arsenal, I appreciate the work and culture Mikel Arteta has brought to his old club, he isn’t afraid to include youngsters and they have clearly already bought into that which he is trying to develop.

My only issue is that Arsenal’s defence has been a joke and for that reason Burnley will always have a chance.

Prediction: 2 – 2

Tottenham v Manchester City

I was impressed by the business Spurs have managed to do with Christian Eriksen, 16m quid is a good sell if you ask me. I don’t understand the Steven Bergwijn signing considering their issues in defence.

Hugo Lloris looks set to return which will be a plus for Jose and his boys, but City are starting to find themselves again and with Laporte back in their defence I think they might have patched a hole.

City win this for me.

Prediction: 1 – 2
