Rooney on target in Rio

Brazil and England have drawn 2-2 in a friendly international in Rio de Janeiro.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wayne Rooney netted for England on Sunday.

Fred and Paulinho scored for the home side.

Neymar and Hulk both started for Brazil, while England included Frank Lampard and Michael Carrick in their starting XI.

Bafana Bafana remain undefeated against Lesotho.

This follows a 2-0 victory in Maseru yesterday.

Tlou Segolela scored both goals in the friendly international.

Bafana have won five of their six meetings with Lesotho, while the other match ended in a draw.

South Africa will play again on Saturday.

That is when they will face Central African Republic in a World Cup qualifier in Cameroon.

Kickoff in Yaounde is scheduled for four o'clock in the afternoon - South African time.
