Ronaldo wins UEFA Player of the Year award
Cristiano Ronaldo was named as the European Player of the year yesterday in Zurich.
Ronaldo wins the award for the very first time.
Last Year's winner was Bayern Munich's Frank Ribery.
The Real Madrid super shattered the goal scoring record that was set by Lionel Messi.
The 29 year-old scored 17 goals in the last campaign, he bettered Messi's tally by three.
It has been a tremendous year for the Portuguese skipper, winning the Champions League, Spanish Kings Cup and the European Super Cup.
