Reinach blow for Sharks ahead of Hurricanes test

The Sharks have suffered a blow with the news that scrumhalf, Cobus Reinach, has broken his hand and will return home from their Australasian SupeRugby tour.

Reinach left the field at half-time during the Sharks 48-15 loss to the Highlanders in Dunedin last Friday.

With scrumhalves, Conrad Hoffmann and Stefan Ungerer, already in New Zealand with the squad, the Sharks have opted to call up hooker Kyle Cooper as a replacement for Reinach in their touring squad.

The Sharks face the Hurricanes in Wellington this Saturday.

Kickoff is at 09h35 in the morning - South African time.

The Sharks will conclude their tour with matches in Australia against the Waratahs (Sydney, May 16 - 11h40) and Reds (Brisbane, May 22 - 11h40).
