Kickoff is at 19h30 and the match will be refereed by Marius van der Westhuizen.

The Sharks had a bye last weekend, while the Rebels defeated the Brumbies 19-17.

Sharks lock forward, Etienne Oosthuizen, was not surprised by the Rebels win.

"I know the Rebels and the Brumbies always have a tough game. The Brumbies always struggle against the Rebels. So it is nothing new. A lot depends on what happens on the day. We just have to get our side right," Oosthuizen said.

Oosthuizen also believes that the Sharks have a good idea of what to expect from the Rebels this weekend.

"Definitely. They are a typical Australian side that loves to throw the ball around. That is our challenge this week. Stopping their momentum and playing according to our gameplan," Oosthuizen added.

Oosthuizen has been a regular for the Sharks this season and admits to enjoying his current run in the side.

"It is always fun to play and it is always nice to get a lot of game-time and develop your own game. I think this is something that I have been getting better at each season and every game I play. So I am really enjoying the game-time and I just want to do my best for the team," Oosthuizen said.

The Sharks have won five of their seven Super Rugby starts this season and are currently second in Africa Conference 2. Oosthuizen believes they have reason to feel satisfied with the campaign to date.

"We are quite happy with where we stand at this stage. We let one or two games slip that we should have won and could have won, but we are very happy with the results thus far. We just want to keep on working and getting better each weekend," Oosthuizen said.

The Sharks defeated the Jaguares in their most recent Super Rugby outing. Oosthuizen feels that while the Sharks like to entertain, winning was the top priority against the South Americans.

"We always want to entertain our fans at the stadium. However, the Jaguares are an international side and a win is a win against them. So if the performance is bad or good, it was a case of a win is a win against them," Oosthuizen concluded.
