Proteas off to a flier in Sri Lanka

South Africa got off to a winning start in their three match one day international series with Sri Lanka.

The Proteas defeated the hosts by 75 runs in the first ODI in Colombo.
Batting first after winning the toss South Africa posted 304 for 5 in their innings.
Hashim Amla top scored with 109, the century was Amla's 13th.
Imran Tahir was the pick of SA bowlers, he finished with 3-50.
The second one dayer will get underway at 11h00 in Pallekele.
SA lead the three match series 1-0.
