Proteas clinch ODI series

Rain stopped play during the final One Day International between India and South Africa at SuperSport Park in Centurion yesterday.

India were about to begin their chase of 302 for victory set by the Proteas when the rain came down.

Quinton de Kock recorded his fourth ODI century, his third in a row against the world champions.

AB de Villiers also got to triple figures, he was dismissed for 109.

De Kock became the third SA batsmen behind De Villiers and Herschelle Gibbs to score three consecutive tons in one day internationals.

South Africa won the three match series 2-0.

The Test series are next, the first test will be played at Bidvest Wanderers starting on 18 December, thereafter Durban will play hosts to the second and final test starting on the 26th of December.
