Pollard picked for top IRB award
Handre Pollard has been nominated for the IRB Junior World Player of the Year Award.
The SA u20 skipper is among three other players who were selected for the top prize.
Pollard along with England winger Nathan Earle, Ireland centre Garry Ringrose and New Zealand wing Tevita Li complete the quartet.
The 20 year old Blue Bulls flyhalf will lead the SA u20's in Fridays IRB Junior Championship final against defending champions England.
The Baby Boks were crowned champions in 2012, the final will kickoff at 09h35 at Eden Park.
