Plenty of snoek at Blue Lagoon
Updated | By Staff Writer

There are still a few Grunter to be had along the Durban beaches with the odd smaller Stumpy also coming out. Anglers fishing off the pier have also tried their luck with Drop shotting and Spinning for Snoek which can be seen just on the backline.
With cleaner water and a much cleaner beach, Anglers have returned to the Bluff with mixed success as some sessions in the morning have produced the odd Kingfish, whilst late afternoons have seen the odd Grey Shark come out.
Visit www.kingfisher.co.za for more info on your local fishing spots and stay tuned tomorrow for an update on the 2013 Bass World Champs which were held in Spain recently.
Weather-wise today we are off to a magical start with light winds, glassy ocean conditions but not too much swell around although it is expected to increase over the course of the day.
If you are planning to go for a paddle before work just keep your eyes peeled for dirty water after the weekend’s rain. We have a max temperature of 25 degrees forecast for Durban and there is a 30% chance of thundershowers later with Southerly winds which are expected to peak at 37km/hr.
