Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from Indian Premier League cricket.
Tendulkar confirmed the decision after winning the IPL title with Mumbai Indians on Sunday night.
Mumbai defeated Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the final. Tendulkar was injured and did not play in Kolkata.

Morkel took two for 12 in three overs, while Morris claimed one for 25 his four overs. Morkel made just ten with the bat.
Kieron Pollard batted superbly for Mumbai.
Pollard hit 60 not out from 32 balls.
Mitchell Johnson bowled well for the winners. He took two for 19 in four overs.
Harbhajan posted figures of two for 14 in three overs.
