PHOTOS: SA teams enjoy Mandela Magic weekend

The Madiba magic was at work as the Proteas and Blitzbokke recorded mammoth victories at the weekend. We also take a look at the Telkom Knockout final in Mpumalanga.

The Blitzbokke came back from behind to defeat the All Blacks 17-14 in the final at the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay sevens yesterday.

This was the third edition of the HSBC series, the next leg will be held in the USA, the tournament will run from January 26-28 in 2014.

The All Blacks are at the summit on the HSBC log. They have 58 points closely followed by South Africa who are second with 56 points, while Fiji and England complete the top four on the standings with forty-eight and forty points respectively.

The Proteas sealed the ODI series against India after a comprehensive 134 run victory in the second one day international in Durban yesterday.

Quinton de Kock was named as the man of the match after he recorded his second ODI century.

South Africa lead the three match series 2-0, the third and final one dayer will be played at Superspork Park in Centurion on Wednesday.

The match is a day nighter, play is scheduled to start at 13:30.

Platinum Stars were crowned as the Telkom Knockout Cup Champions after defeating Orlando Pirates in the final at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
