*Photo* Rare catch for KZN angler
Updated | By Andre Bloem
A KwaZulu-Natal angler made a fairly unusual catch over the past weekend.
Jason Leech caught an Indian mirrorfish from a boat off Umdloti. These fish are not very common in South African waters and are mostly found in places like the Seychelles and northern Mozambique.
The mirrorfish landed on Sunday weighed about 5 kilograms.
Jason says they also caught some rockod and yellowtail.
Apparently there were loads of bait fish around on Sunday.
You can see Jason and his catch in the photograph on this page.
