The Cobras have ended day one of their Sunfoil Series clash with the Sunfoil Dolphins on 67 for two.

The Cobras are replying to the Dolphins first innings effort of 183 all out at Newlands.

Craig Alexander has taken both wickets.

Alexander earlier also batted well for the Dolphins.

The fast bowler cracked 54 from 35 balls.

Vaughn van Jaarsveld top scored for the Dolphins with 58.

Wayne Parnell did most of the damage for the Cobras.

Parnell took seven for 51.

Vernon Philander made his comeback from injury today and claimed one for 20.

Stephen Cook managed just six in a rare Sunfoil Series failure today.

Dwaine Pretorius was the batting star for the Lions against the Titans.

Pretorius hit 118 as the Lions reached 411 for seven by the close.

Marchant de Lange and Tabraiz Shamsi have claimed three wickets each for the Titans.

Fifteen wickets fell on day one of the game between the Knights and the Warriors in Kimberley.

The Knights were dismissed for 128 and the Warriors reached stumps on 93 for five in reply.

Jerry Nqolo took four for 11 for the Warriors.

The Knights, Lions and Titans are all still in title contention.
