Ndungane believes in prayer
Odwa Mzuzo Ndungane was born in Mthatha on 20 February 1981.
Ndungane has made over a hundred appearances for the Cell C Sharks.
The utility back also represented the Springboks in nine Test matches.

Who was your favourite player growing up and why?
Tana Umaga - He had so many skills.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Playing my first match for the Springboks.
Which player would you love to play alongside?
Akona Ndungane.
Which player would you hate to play against?
S'bura Sithole.
At what point did you decide that you wanted to become a professional rugby player?
After I failed to make the soccer team at school.
What has been the most challenging aspect of your career?
Injuries and being dropped.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I pray before every game.
Which is your favourite stadium to play at besides Growthpoint Kings Park?
Loftus - There is nothing better than winning there.
What do you plan to do after rugby?
Go into construction.
What is your favourite movie?
Men On Fire.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Zanzibar.
Where did you matriculate?
Hudson Park High School.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
Casper Nyovest.

Anything my wife makes.
