Mulder shoots up ICC rankings
Updated | By Nick Tatham
Proteas all-rounder, and star of their test series against Zimbabwe, Wiaan Mulder has shot up the ICC test rankings across all three categories after his heroics in Bulawayo.

Mulder caused wide-spread debate after he decided to declare when he was on 367 in their first innings of the second test match. At that stage he was just 33 runs short of Brian Lara's highest individual test score of 400.
After the match he spoke about the fact that Lara deserves that record and he was happy to sit at fifth on the all-time top scorers list. He also holds the highest score for a South African in test cricket and the highest score by a captain in a test match.
Following his efforts he has risen in all three categories of the ICC rankings.
He's moved up 34 places in the test batter rankings to a career-high 22nd. He's also made strides on the test bowlers ranking to 40th on the bowlers rankings.
His most impressive position now is 3rd on the test all-rounder rankings. He's now behind Bangaldesh's Mehidy Hasan Miraz and India's Ravindra Jadeja.
Mulder climbed a significant 19 places in the all-rounders ranking to sit in the top three after two memorable test matches for him and the Proteas.
Other South Africans to make strides on the ICC test rankings were David Bedingham, Lu-Handre Pretorius and Corbin Bosch.
Bedingham is up four places to 43rd on the test batting rankings. Pretorius is up eight places to 60th following his memorable start to his test career.
Bosch, who was equal top wicket taker in the series, moved up to 51st on the test bowlers list, up by six places.
South Africa will face Zimbabwe and New Zealand in a T20 Tri-Series starting on Monday in Zimbabwe.
