Moyes favourite for United job

David Moyes is considered the clear favourite to succeed Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager.

An announcement is expected on Thursday and it looks almost certain that one Scot will replace another at Old Trafford.

Moyes is currently in charge of Everton.

The Toffees are sixth in the English Premier League standings.

The battle for Champions League qualification remains very much alive in England.

This follows a 2-2 Premiership draw between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Oscar and Ramires scored for the hosts at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Emanuel Adebayor and Gylfi Sigurdsson replied for Spurs.

Chelsea are third in the standings and Spurs fifth.

Chelsea lead Spurs by three points and are two points clear of Arsenal in fourth spot.
