Caster Semenya has won gold in the women's 800-metres at the Rio Olympics. Semenya clocked a new national record in claiming the title earlier this morning.

Brazil are the men's Olympic soccer champions.
This after beating Germany in a penalty shootout.
Nigeria secured the bronze medal.
USA claimed gold in the men's four-by-400-metres relay.
Mo Farah won the 5 000 metres crown.
South African, Elroy Gelant, ended 14th.
The Olympic men's marathon will take place later today.

The Springboks will meet Argentina in Argentina this coming Saturday.
This after beating the Pumas 30-23 in the Rugby Championship last night.
The Boks struck late after at one stage trailing 23-13 in Nelspruit.
Bok head coach, Allister Coetzee, does not want his side to always rely on their fighting spirit.
Coetzee says he wants the Springboks to be more clinical.

Cell C Sharks have a Currie Cup date in Durban this coming Saturday.
