South Africa have ended day one of the second cricket Test against Australia on 171 for five in their first innings. Dean Elgar is out for 17, Stephen Cook 23, Faf du Plessis seven, JP Duminy one and Hashim Amla 47.

Australia, who batted first after losing the toss in Hobart, were earlier dismissed for 85.
Steven Smith top scored for the Aussies with an unbeaten 48.
Vernon Philander claimed five for 21 for the Proteas, while Kyle Abbott took three for 41.
Philander hurt his shoulder in taking his five wickets and was forced to leave the field.
South Africa won the first of three Tests.

Our domestic T20 Challenge competition gets underway today with a double-header at the Wanderers.
The Knights will meet the Cobras in the opening game, while the second match will feature the Lions and Multiply Titans.
