The Sharks face four weeks without Butch James.
The veteran utility back has been suspended for a dangerous tackle on Jurgen Visser.
James was cited after the Vodacom Super Rugby loss to the Bulls on Saturday.
James pleaded guilty and will only be available to play again from the fifth of next month onwards.
The Sharks have just one match left in the 2013 Super Rugby competition.
They will host the Southern Kings in Durban on Saturday.
Kickoff is at Growthpoint Kings Park is scheduled for 17h05.
Meanwhile, a Bulls player has also been cited after the game at Loftus this past weekend.
Wilhelm Steenkamp is accused of head-butting and will face a Sanzar judicial hearing later this morning.
Andy Murray has ended a long title drought for British men at Wimbledon.
Murray beat Novak Djokovic in the final yesterday and is the first British man to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936.
Murray defeated Djokovic 6-4 7-5 6-4 and has now secured two grand slam singles titles.
The last Scotsman to win the singles crown at Wimbledon was Harold Mahony back in 1896.
British men have won a total of 36 Wimbledon singles titles - more than any other nation.
Ghana are through to the semi-finals at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Ghana edged Chile 4-3 after extra-time last night.
Ghana will face France in a semi-final on Wednesday.
The other semi-final will feature Iraq and Uruguay.
They will also clash on Wednesday.
Paul Pogba and recent Arsenal signing, Yaya Sanogo, both scored for France in their 4-0 quarter-final victory over Uzbekistan.
Uruguay beat Spain 1-0 in their quarter-final over the past weekend.
Roberto Mancini believes Manchester City will struggle in Europe in the coming season.
Mancini, sacked as City manager in May this year, says City are still learning at the highest level and look short on both quality and experience.
Mancini also thinks that City have lost an important player in Carlos Tevez.
He was recently sold to Juventus.
Daryl Impey is 43rd after nine stages of the Tour de France.
The South African cyclist is 30 minutes and five seconds adrift of overall leader Chris Froome.
Alejandro Valverde is second.
