Milestone matches for two Sharks players

Two Cell C Sharks players will achieve significant career milestones when they take on the Vodacom Bulls on Saturday.

Sharks centre Andre Esterhuizen will play his 50th Vodacom Super Rugby match this weekend.

Hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle will make make his 100th Super Rugby appearance if he gets some game time at his former home ground, Loftus Versfeld.

Ralepelle played 69 matches for the Bulls. He will make his 31st for the Sharks if he get a run off the bench.

Coach Robert du Preez has stuck with a relatively unchanged team that beat the Highlanders 38-12 at Jonsson Kings park last week.

Jacques Vermeulen starts in place of Philip van der Walt on the side of the scrum. Van der Walt sustained a blow to the face during that match and is unavailable for selection.

Ralepelle replaces Franco Marais on the bench.

The Sharks will be wanting to make it three wins in a row. They beat the DHL Stormers and Highlanders on either side of their bye week.

The coastal franchise currently finds itself in eighth position on the overall log.

The men in black and white have four wins and a draw from 10 starts this season, a total of 23 log points.
