Mashamaite Wins Big at the PSL Awards
Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefu Mashamaite has picked up three awards at the Premier Soccer League awards.
The man known as 'Masha' to his teammates, featured in every league game for Amakhosi this season and was awarded for his tremendous contribution for the league champions.
Mashamaite was crowned the Footballer of the Season, Player's Player of the Year and also picked up the Defender of the Season award.
Mamelodi Sundowns' Teko Modise was also a big winner on the night, as he was named the midfielder of the season, while he also clinched the Nedbank Cup Player of the tournament.
Mashamaite's teammate, George Maluleka, picked up the MTN8 Last Man Standing award, while Chiefs head coach, Stuart Baxter, was named the Coach of the Season.
