The KZN franchise will look to continue their winning streak to four consecutive games, after successfully seeing off a tough challenge from the Limpopo Pride 68-62 and then blowing the Northern Cape Zebra’s away 74-44.

'The past weekends results have seen the Marlins outfit climb up the log into 7th, and will hope to climb up to 5th come the end of the season, having already failed to qualify for the final four.

Despite the two wins from the weekend, Coach Craig Gilchrist is far from impressed with the performance of his side and in his post match interview after the game against the Limpopo Pride, he lamented that his side was “arrogant'' in thinking that the game would be easy, against a rapidly improving Limpopo Pride side , who were without three key player.

Gilchrist slated the effort of his chargers and insist they adjust their attitude if they want to compete against the more fancied sides.

The Marlins Achilles heel this season, has been the amount of turnovers conceded as well as the ability to convert must score situations, including poor Free Throw percentages.

This was evident in the game against the Pride although  the Marlins managed to rally and grind out the much needed victory.

The Windbreakers are a side struggling in the 2015 Basketball National League, and should not pose much of threat to the Marlins, as long as they approach the match with the right mentality and Coach Gilchris will demand this from his team.
