Maritzburg United survive relegation
Maritzburg United pulled off a miracle to secure their spot in the ABSA Premiership next season.
Team of Choice's clash with Jomo Cosmos was a winner takes all affair - the prize retaining a spot in the Premier Division next season.
The permutations were simple, Maritzburg United needed to win the match to move out of the relegation places, while a draw would have kept Cosmos in the top flight.
For most of the match, Cosmos were confident they would do just that after Onassis Mntambo scored in the 27th minute.
But in true Team of Choice style, the underdogs left it until the last minute to turn things around.
Mohau Mokate equalised for Maritzburg in the 81st minute, before Evans Rusike scored a double in the last five minutes to secure a 3-1 victory.
