Maritzburg College, Glenwood get televised rugby games

KZN schools Maritzburg College and Glenwood will have rugby matches televised during this year’s schoolboy season.
The Easter Weekend will see a number of the top rugby schools around the country kick off their 2016 campaigns. That will be followed up by the regular season. During that period, the Mutual and Federal Interschools begins.
Seven schools that featured in the top eleven ranked rugby 1st XVs of 2015 will face off.
Maritzburg College will have two televised clashes. King Edward VII will host College in May in their first televised match. The Maritzburg boys will then host Pretoria’s Affies in July on Goldstones.
Meanwhile the Green Machine Glenwood will travel to Krugersdorp to take on Monument in their only televised fixture of the Interschools matches.
Paarl Boys High, who ended as the number one ranked side last year, and Paul Roos will play three matches. Grey College, Paarl Gim, Grey High, Monument will play two matches. Affies, KES, Waterkloof, Boland Landbou, Oakdale, Bishops and Rondebosch all have one televised fixture.
