Lions reshuffle backline for Province

Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann made several changes to his side to face Western Province in a Currie Cup clash at Newlands in Cape Town on Saturday.
The majority of changes were made to the backline. Among the forwards, Willie Britz has been promoted from the bench and into the starting line-up. In the backline, Michael Bondesio has recovered from injury and will start at scrumhalf.
At flyhalf, Marnitz Boshoff will take the place of the injured Elton Jantjies, while Lionel Cronje and Lionel Mapoe will pair up in the midfield at 12 and 13 respectively.
Chrysander Botha also returns from injury and will start at wing, with Andries Coetzee shifting to fullback. Meanwhile, Hugo Kloppers and Kobus de Kock are both new additions on the bench.

Andries Coetzee, Chrysander Botha, Lionel Mapoe, Lionel Cronje, Anthony Volmink, Marnitz Boshoff, Michael Bondesio, Warren Whiteley, Derick Minnie (capt), Jaco Kriel, Chris van Zyl, Willie Britz, Ruan Dreyer, Robbie Coetzee, CJ van der Linde.
Replacements:
Willie Wepener, Jacques van Rooyen, Hugo Kloppers, Warwick Tecklenberg, Ross Cronje, Kobus de Kock, Deon Helberg.
