The traditional mouth-watering Jukskei Derby did not disappoint but no-one expected the Bulls’ demolition at the hands of the Lions at Loftus Versfeld.

The DHL Stormers claimed a valuable seven-point victory over the Toyota Cheetahs in Cape Town while the Southern Kings claimed the scalp of the Jaguares.

Springbok and Lions flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff was the leading points scorer this weekend contributing 21 points to his side’s score converting six of their tries and slotting three penalties.

Stormers pivot Jean-Luc du Plessis scored 16 of his team’s points to share third place on the All Out Rugby App’s Stats Zone with Richie Mo’unga (Crusaders) and Christian Lealiifano (Brumbies).

Cheetahs fullback Clayton Blommetjies ranked fourth in the Metres Run category with the 133m he covered against the Stormers.
Lions centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg had a cracker of a weekend scoring a brace of tries against his former team.

Janse van Rensburg made 112 running metres over the weekend which he converted into four Clean Breaks which is the second most along with team-mate and Springbok call-up Faf de Klerk.

Blommetjies’ name crops up again in the Defenders Beaten bracket where he shares third place with six other players.

He beat five defenders along with Lions duo Jaco Kriel and Lionel Mapoe, and Stormers flanker Siya Kolisi.

Lions hooker Malcolm Marx and David Pocock of the Brumbies share the top spot in terms of Turnovers Won with four each.

Kriel and Stormers lock Eben Etzebeth were among the 18 players that made two turnovers over the weekend.

Bulls flanker Lappies Labuschagne features among the top defenders this weekend sharing fourth place with Sam Cane of the Chiefs and the Force’s Chris Alcock with 15 Tackles each.
