Having missed the first ten rounds of Super Rugby this season, Lambie will finally enter the fray having finally recovered from surgery on his shoulder.

The Springbok pivot was ruled out of the start of the season after he damaged his shoulder at the bottom of a ruck in the Sharks first warm-up match of the season.

Lambie has been hard at work on his rehabilitation and has trained with the Currie Cup squad while the Sharks were on tour in New Zealand. He will hope to make a contribution off the bench this weekend, while Garth April retains his starting berth at flyhalf for a third consecutive week.

Paul Jordaan is fit again, having sat out of last week's narrow loss to the Chiefs, and slots in at outside centre. Michael Claassens will have to get comfortable wearing the number 9 jumper, with Springbok scrumhalf Cobus Reinach ruled out for the rest of the season.

Tendai 'Beast'  Mtawarira returns to front row after a week's break and reclaims the captains armband from Keegan Daniel - who also retains his spot at openside flank. Franco Marais is also back at hooker, which sees Kyle Cooper drop out of the match day squad.

The Sharks host the Hurricanes at Growthpoint Kings Park on Saturday. Kickoff is at 15h00.
