Ludwick Mamabolo ended second in Durban today.
He won Comrades in 2012.
Gift Kelehe completed the top three.
He is the brother of 2001 champion Andrew Kelehe.
Claude Moshiywa failed to finish today.
The 2013 champion was forced to end his race early, due to a groin injury.
Stephen Muzhingi was fourth today.
The Zimbabwean is a three-time Comrades winner.
Eleanor Greenwood won the ladies race this year.
It is the first time since 2005 that a Nurgalieva failed to win Comrades.
Greenwood is British, but lives in Canada.
Elena Nurgalieva was second today and Olesya Nurgalieva third.
