The Kings have won one of their three Super Rugby starts this season.

Their only win was a 37-23 victory over the Sunwolves in Singapore.

Last weekend the Stormers defeated the Kings 41-10 in Port Elizabeth.

Sharks captain, Mtembu, believes the Kings are a quality side.

"They actually played well in losing to the Stormers. The score did not reflect the game. The Kings will come out firing this weekend as well and we will need to play well if we are to achieve a good result," Mtembu said.

The Sharks defeated the Waratahs 37-14 in Durban last weekend.

Sharks head coach, Robert du Preez, was very happy with their defensive display against the Waratahs and is expecting more of the same against the Kings tomorrow.

"I think our defence was good against the Waratahs. We want to step up our intensity this weekend and pressure them defensively," Du Preez said.

Odwa Ndungane is back in the Sharks team this week. Ndungane has been picked to start on the left wing and will also serve as Sharks vice-captain against the Kings.

Head coach, Du Preez, has revealed that Ndungane had faced stiff competition from S'bu Nkosi.

"I have had a discussion with all the guys that have missed out this week. There is a guy like S'bu Nkosi. He really played well last week, but Odwa was just a little bit better. Odwa also brings calmness and experience to the team. So I have had a chat with all those boys. They are obviously disappointed, because there is a good vibe in the team and they all want to be in the team," Du Preez concluded.
