Irvin Khoza has accepted the resignation of Orlando Pirates head coach Muhsin Ertugral. The Pirates chairman says Ertugral tended his resignation after the 6-1 loss to Supersport United last night.
Michael Boxall netted twice for Supersport.
Their other goals were scored by Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Thuso Phala, Bradley Grobler and Jeremy Brockie.
Pirates are seventh in the Absa Premiership standings.
They have ten points from seven league starts this season.
The last time Pirates lost 6-1 was against Sundowns back in 1990.
