Current Dolphins opening batsman, Sarel Erwee, believes Khan is already making an impact at the KZN franchise.

"Imraan has played a lot of cricket and is sharing this experience with the guys. This has put a lot of energy into our cricket. He is different to head coach, Grant Morgan, and this is pretty cool," Erwee said.

Erwee was not a regular in the Sunfoil Series with a finger injury limiting his availability this season.

He feels he has seen enough action lately to be ready for the Momentum One Day Cup campaign.

"I have had two good weeks of prep. I have hit a lot of balls and my game last week with KZN Inland against KZN Coastal served me well. I am raring to go," Erwee added.

The Dolphins will launch their Momentum One Day Cup campaign against the Titans in Centurion today. Erwee has had a look at the Centurion pitch.

"The wicket looks nice. It is the one-day wicket South Africa played against Sri Lanka on. I think the ball will come nicely onto the bat. I hope it will be a high-scoring game," Erwee said.

Erwee does not believe that there are favourites for the Momentum One Day Cup title.

"I think it is going to be a very open competition. I think most teams have been looking forward to white-ball cricket. You have bigger crowds and television coverage," Erwee concluded.
