The award goes to the student who excelled at all aspects of the Academy.
The Kearsney College old boy received the award for showing great balance by receiving top academic results combined with an outstanding work ethic on and off the field of play.
He excelled in his rugby training, improving his conditioning programme in the process, whilst also showing great leadership qualities.
A self-motivated player, he has unquestionably shown his attributes as an all-round student of the Academy and richly deserved the award, said Hans Scriba, director of the Sharks Academy.
