It's do or die time for AmaZulu

Tonight they face The University of Pretoria in Tshwane knowing nothing less than three points would be a good outing for them.

Usuthu are currently bottom of the ABSA Premiership table on 24 points, three points behind Moroka Swallows who are on 27.

Swallows are at home to Ajax Cape Town and if they beat the Urban Warriors and AmaZulu get a point or less against Tuks, Steve Barkers men will be relegated tonight.

However, if both sides win their respective matches tonight then its all to play for come the final day of the season which see's Swallows host Bloem Celtic while AmaZulu play Maritzburg United in the 'KZN derby'.

Team News for AmaZulu

Mbulelo Mabizela and Khulekani Madondo are both unavailable due to suspension having accumulated four yellow cards this season.

AmaZulu coach Steve Barker says he is disappointed with this outcome but he hopes it might still work for the better in the last match.

“We have played some matches without them and yes they have a strong impact on the team. On the other side maybe the rest they will get will help them come fresh when we play our last match,” said Barker.

Captain Robyn Johannes is also a major doubt due to injury.

The match in Pretoria kicks off at 7:30 pm tonight and will be televised.
