IPL defeat for Morkel

Morne Morkel has tasted defeat in his latest Indian Premier League outing.

Morkel made 23 not out and took one for 43 in his four overs for Delhi Daredevils on Tuesday night.

Mumbai Indians beat Delhi by 44 runs.

Dinesh Karthik and Rohit Sharma batted superbly for the winners.

Karthik hit 86 from 48 balls, while Sharma cracked his undefeated 74 from 50 deliveries.

David Warner later top scored for Delhi with 61.

Lasith Malinga bowled nicely for Mumbai.

Malinga claimed one for 20 in four overs.
