The hosts chasing 210 to win reached the target with 12 balls to spare to claim a 3 wicket win over the Aussies.
Skipper Elton Chigumbura was named as the man of the match for his match winning 52 not out.
The loss is the first for the visitors in 31 years, 1983 was the last time the Aussies lost to the Zimbabweans.
The log remains the same with South Africa top followed by Australia and Zimbabwe, the top two teams will compete in the final.
The Proteas take on the Aussies at the Harare Sports Club tomorrow.
