Hashim opts for Cobras

Hashim Amla is no longer a Sunfoil Dolphins player.

Amla has opted to join the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras.

His decision takes effect immediately.

The move was confirmed by the Dolphins a short while ago.

Amla has represented South Africa in 70 Tests, 68 ODIs and 15 T20 internationals.

The 30-year-old former DHS pupil has scored 19 Test centuries and has a Test batting average of 53.

Amla has also managed 11 ODI centuries at a very impressive average of 57.
