Good fishing on the north coast

The latest Kingfisher report said that Rock and Surf Anglers were probably the only ones that were happy with the big storms and heavy weather during the past week and over the weekend.

The rivers have had a chance to clean out and in a few days’ time the off colour water will definitely set the scene for typical summer Flatfish.

The KZNCAU Common Venue Annual Meet was fished last weekend and congratulations to all those hardy anglers who put in the time in terrible conditions.

The results are as follows: Vikings 1st with 135.5 points followed by Tongaat A and then Benders.

It also seems that the focus is now on the North Coast, because even in bad conditions some good reports of fish were received.

Today sees SW winds blowing and a high of 24 degrees with a 30 percent chance of light rain in the early morning becoming partly cloudy in the morning otherwise some rain showers this evening.

On Saturday the SW winds continue to blow with a chance of some rain and temperatures peaking at 22 degrees.

Sunday morning may be overcast with some rain showers but clear skies are forecast later in the day and the wind will swing back to NE’s with a maximum temperature of 23 degrees. Have a wonderful weekend!
