Good fishing in Zululand
Updated | By Andre Bloem
Rock and surf angling has been good in the upper Zululand area recently.
A number of stumpnose, shad and garrick were caught last week and anglers should perhaps consider trying Zululand spots over the coming weekend.
Meanwhile, the Bass World Championships will be taking place in Spain and six of our top Proteas anglers and their manager will be representing South Africa at the showpiece. If anyone is in a position to help contribute towards sponsoring the team they can contact Rob Fisher on [email protected] or on 082-490-0265.
A strong SW buster hit KZN last night and the SW will continue to blow today, bringing cooler weather and a 30% chance of rain this morning with cloudy conditions for the rest of the day. Durban has a high of 21 degrees forecast and Windguru has predicted more massive surf with swells of over 5m at 12 seconds. Boat skippers and general ocean-users are urged to take care in these conditions.
