With a break in the Rugby Championship before the penultimate two rounds get underway, the Springbok management wants a few of their players to get some game-time in the Currie Cup this weekend.

Malcom Marx, Rudi Paige, Lwazi Mvovo, Bongi Mbonambi and Trevor Nyakane will join their respective unions for this week's domestic action.

Mvovo is the only player that won't see any action, as the Sharks have the week off with a bye in the Currie Cup this coming weekend.

While those players are expected to get some action, the Springbok management have asked that Faf de Klerk, Juan de Jongh, Oupa Mohoje and Vincent Koch are left out by their teams this weekend. Those four players have seen plenty of action in the past few weeks and coach Allister Coetzee wants them to have a break.

The Springboks are expected to name their squad for the remaining Rugby Championship clashes later this week - and it wouldn't be surprising if Sharks flyhalf Pat Lambie gets a call-up.

Despite only making his return to rugby this past weekend, the Springboks desperately need an experienced and cool-headed customer in the vital decision-making slot, as Elton Jantjies has consistently underwhelmed with his performances of late.
