Free State Cheetahs have easily won their latest Currie Cup match. The Cheetahs defeated the EP Kings 57-25 this afternoon. The Cheetahs will face the Cell C Sharks next. Western Province beat the Sharks 34-27.

Elton Jantjies and Francois Hougaard are both back in training with the Springboks.
Jantjies and Hougaard have shaken their respective injuries.
The Boks will face the Wallabies in a Rugby Championship match in Brisbane this coming Saturday.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is not in the Manchester United squad for the Europa League group stage.
The Germany midfielder is yet to make a competitive appearance under Jose Mourinho this season.
Mourinho has made it clear that Schweinsteiger will find it difficult to break into his preferred team.
Mourinho has included teenage defenders, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Axel Tuanzebe, in his Europa League line-up.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, meanwhile, is a doubt for the Manchester derby next Saturday after suffering an injury while on international duty.
Manchester City are without the suspended Sergio Aguero for the Premiership showdown at Old Trafford.

England will see action in a World Cup qualifier in Slovakia tomorrow.

South Africa A have hammered the Australian National Performance Squad in quadrangular series one-day action in Mackay.
South Africa A, chasing a victory target of 208, cruised to 209 for one in the 39th over.
Theunis de Bruyn made an undefeated 90 and David Miller 72 not out.
Dwaine Pretorius and De Bruyn had earlier bowled well for South Africa A.
Pretorius claimed two for 20 in six overs and De Bruyn two for 37 in his ten overs.
Andile Phehlukwayo took two for 27 in four overs and three balls.

Western Province have defeated KZN Inland by nine wickets in Africa Cup T20 action in Pietermaritzburg.
Jason Smith batted superbly for Western Province.
Smith blasted his 79 from just 43 balls at the City Oval.
Vaughn van Jaarsveld had earlier made 45 for KZN Inland.

Serena Williams has a third round date with Johanna Larsson at the US Open today.
Andy Murray is scheduled to meet Paolo Lorenzi in his third round outing in New York.
Venus Williams is also on the Saturday menu at Flushing Meadow.
She will face Laura Siegemund in another third round showdown.
Kevin Anderson lost his third round match to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga yesterday.

Lewis Hamilton has claimed pole position for the Italian Formula One Grand Prix.
Mercedes teammate, Nico Rosberg, will start in second spot on the Monza grid.
Rosberg is also second in the world championship standings.
He trails Hamilton by nine points in the title race.
Sebastian Vettel clocked the third fastest time in qualifying this afternoon.
Kimi Raikkonen completes the top four on the grid.

Cal Crutchlow will start the British MotoGP in pole position.
Crutchlow was quickest at a wet Silverstone today.
Valentino Rossi clocked the second fastest time.

World championship leader, Marc Marquez, is fifth on the grid.
