Durban to host horseracing showpiece
Updated | By Staff Writer

With R12.8 million in stakes earned this season, and 149 winning rides, Khumalo will be wanting to make every ride count tonight to tighten his grip at the top of the jockeys’ log ahead of the 31 July deadline.
In the main race tonight, Khumalo is aboard the rising star Halve The Deficit, conditioned by prominent Johannesburg-based trainer Sean Tarry - the same stable for which Khumalo won last year’s Vodacom Durban July aboard Heavy Metal.
