Durban summons for Robert

Robert Ebersohn has been added to the Springbok squad.

Ebersohn has been called up as cover at centre.

Juan de Jongh has a damaged finger and will miss the clash with Italy in Durban on Saturday.

Jean de Villiers and JJ Engelbrecht are both rated doubtful for the action at Growthpoint Kings Park.

The Boks and Italians will clash from 17h15 onwards.

Meanwhile, New Zealand are likely to be without Daniel Carter when they meet France this weekend.

Carter has a hand injury and looks almost certain to miss out on the action in Auckland.

This means Aaron Cruden is favourite to start at Eden Park on Saturday.

Vodacom Bulls have suffered an injury blow.

Lionel Mapoe could miss the remainder of the season.

Mapoe has a shoulder injury.

He faces at least six weeks out.
