The visitors took 7.92 points from the game and now sit fourth on the table, while the Durban franchise earned 7.4 from their first four-day fixture of the season.
Meanwhile, Cricket South Africa named Rilee Rossouw as the replacement for Quinton de Kock in the remaining two Sunfoil Test against the West Indies.
De Kock has been ruled out by an ankle ligament injury sustained in the first Test match at SuperSport Park.
The last two tests are to be played at St George’s Park and Newlands over the festive period.
