Dolphins make one change for PE clash

The Sunfoil Dolphins have made just one change to their squad that claimed a bonus point victory over the VKB Knights in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

The men from Durban square off against the Warriors in a Momentum One Day Cup clash at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth tomorrow.

Ayavuya Myoli comes in for the injured Mat Pillans, who played no part in Sunday’s victory and is still struggling with a side strain sustained during KZN Inlands’ Africa T20 Cup final efforts.

Myoli comes into the franchise mix off the back of a solid outing for the KwaZulu-Natal amateur side in their Sunfoil Cup clash against KZN Inland in Durban last week where he claimed first innings figures of 5/46.

Having hailed from Border, Myoli will be eager to put in a solid performance should he be handed a franchise debut for Wednesday’s Eastern Cape contest.

Sunfoil Dolphins head coach Lance Klusener and captain Morné van Wyk will be eager for their side to produce another strong showing in their first assignment away from home before returning to their headquarters at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Friday where they take on bizhub Highveld Lions.

The Eastern Cape outfit managed to chase down a daunting 327 against defending Momentum One Day Cup champions The Unlimited Titans and will provide another stern test for the men from the East Coast on Wednesday.

Play at St George’s Park is scheduled to start at 2pm.
