Curran's COVID-19 test comes back negative
Updated | By Nick Tatham
England’s Sam Curran has tested negative for COVID-19 following a scare on Thursday that saw him withdraw from England's current warm-up game for their series against the West Indies starting next week.

The Surrey all-rounder, who had a sickness bug has recovered, and has been self-isolating in his room at the Ageas Bowl while the rest of the squad wrap up their intra-squad match on Friday.
Curran's illness included diarrhoea and sickness which in turn raised fears he may have caught COVID-19, which would have cast doubt over the first test set to get underway next Wednesday at the same ground.
He will now return to training over the next 24-48 hours and will be closely monitored by the team doctor.
Curran will receive a further COVID-19 test on Sunday with the rest of the playing and management group.
Both England and the West Indies have been protected in a 'bio bubble' with the hosts in Southampton and the Windies in Manchester.
The first test will take place at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton followed by two tests at Old Trafford.
