Comrades reaches 92 on Sunday
This Sunday will be the 92nd edition of the iconic Comrades Marathon.
The race this year is an up run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
Comrades was first run on 24 May 1921.
Sixteen runners officially finished the debut race.
Comrades has grown massively after such humble beginings and thousands of runners will be lining up to run Comrades 2017 on 4 June.
