With the Cell C Sharks enjoying a bye weekend in Super Rugby, KZN club rugby will take over Growthpoint Kings Park this weekend.
The KZN club rugby league kicks off this weekend. Four Premier Division matches will be played on the Kings Park Stadium pitch as the 2016 Fidelity Moor Cup finally gets underway.
First up at 11h00, Premier Division newcomers Newcastle Highlanders will take on Jaguars, who make their return to top flight club rugby.
Amanzimtoti will clash with the South Coast Warriors at 12h30.
Defending champions Durban Collegians then meet Zululand Rhinos at 14h00.
The main match of the day sees College Rovers take on Varsity College at 15h30.
Meanwhile a number of 2nd team matches will be played on the Kings Park outer fields while First Division league clashes sees UKZN (Durban) take on Westville Old Boys while Harlequins meet newly promoted Durban Mets.
Entrance to Kings Park is free this weekend, so rugby fans are urged to come down and support local club rugby.
