Springboks team doctor Craig Roberts has confirmed a clean bill of health after the Boks arrived in Auckland ahead of Saturdays Test against the All Blacks.

The Boks have cut down on their workload, today's training will consist of a gym session followed by a pool flush out. Jannie du Plessis, Bryan Habana and JJ Engelbrecht have bruises but nothing is serious, the Boks will return to normal training tomorrow.

Sharks Skipper Jacques Botes says he was disappointed about the way his side started the match at Newlands at the weekend, however he said he is proud of how his teammates played in the final quarter to earn the bonus point.

The Sharks are away to the Griquas in Absa Currie Cup action on Saturday, kickoff is at 3pm in Kimberley.

Jonsson College Rovers claimed back to back Club titles. Rovers beat Collegians in the final at the Riverside Sports Complex in Durban North to reclaim their crown.

Soccer

Bafana Bafana will take on Zimbabwe in a friendly international tomorrow. The match will kickoff at 20:30 at the Orlando Stadium. Amazulu, Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows are on display this week in the Absa Premiership.

On Saturday 14 September Usuthu host Moroka Swallows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, the Team of Choice are away to Kaizer Chiefs in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium, meanwhile on Sunday Arrows are up against Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Cricket

The CSA Awards take place in Johannesburg this evening.

AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla., Venon Philander and Dale Steyn are the favourites to walk away with the top prize.

Proceedings get underway from 8pm onwards at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Tennis

The final Grand Slam of the year comes to an end today. Top seeds Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal will lock horns in the final this evening. The action starts from 22:30 onwards on the centre Court at the US Open.
